It is important for children to learn about this issue. This plant will affect their lives and the environment. The students at Old Adobe have looked at both sides of the issue and decided to protest this plant. They have been very vocal-educating parents, attending county meetings, and gathering signatures for petitions and a letter writing campaign. A member of the Sonoma County Planning Commission has told me that it is not appropriate to have school children involved in this issue. How wrong can he be! It is important to teach civic responsibility and how to educate oneself about important community issues. Get your children involved in the process. Talk to student council representatives at your school and make this a real community effort. Anyone interested in joining a kids coalition please contact me at petalumakids@comcast.net

You don't pass by an asphalt plant to get to sesame street... Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Petaluma. The directions should never include passing 2, 70' stacks at the Stink plant!

"Conscience Of Sonoma County" This is my moniker and I have been speaking out publicly for the last month at thePetaluma City Council meetings (they are awesome). The Board of Sonoma County Supervisors meeting every Tuesday (Mike Kerns(our representative), Valerie Brown & Paul Kelley "The Gang of 3", who sell out to every big corporate player. These 3 need to go now, and should be run out of office and replaced by people that represent the people and not the special interests of a "FEW". " Have I Told You Folks, How Much I Dislike These People! I have also been speaking on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursday at the different Commissions that make up the Sonoma County Planning Dept., which is under the Permit & Resource Management Dept. (PRMD) I will be at the Sunday March 8th "Old Adobe Leadership Academy Environmental Art Show" 4 - 6 pm at Shollenberger Clean Air HQ located at 322 Western Ave right next to the "Tea Room" Peace Wayne Clarke "The Conscience Of Sonoma County"
